Kapiti  Kauri,
  The flowers are often fused or joined by short attachments ,particularly on the heads with 3 or more flowers.
Have only had a few with  5  per head,  2  or  3  are the norm.
Thanks for your interest Brian  D. Yes i do  think some colours are to bright.
I mentioned hat on an earlier double shown,  it  was significantly softer than the photo.

I  don,t know Croesus,  have grown and know Ceylon , it,s much later than  Bright L .?
Don,t think we can have many Aussie members who grow older cutflower types.
