Hi Daffnetters,
Another Australian historic with photos for daffseek.
Yvonne , posted last evening , is on daffseek ,but without photos.
It was from Hancocks , Australia, I imported my stock about 1982.
The Ptolemy was raised by Barr and Son about 1921.
I can trace the origins of my Ptolemy stock back to Otaki  N Z growers Tilbury Bros who imported it from U  K about 1946.
Probably still available from a few U K  suppliers.
  Another from Hancocks Australia,  — Toorak  Gold  —  2 Y Y
Has been a useful breeder in my early cutflower breeding program an alsoin the U K  Rosewarne program, being in the pedigree of several of
their latest registrations.
