more scented daffodils

Louise de Coligny is another white-pink trumpet with a distinct scent of wild roses. Old 1940 introduction from Holland but looks like it has Mrs. R.O.Backhouse in the breeding. All of the ones I grow have a serious number of petals with mittens. But it is great to use in show and tell situations. Or like Bill does to see if people can even smell the flower.
The split cup She’s Apples from David Jackson has the incredible smell of fresh cut green apples. This is also one of the strongest stemmed split cups that I grow. If you like split cups, each bloom is always perfect for showing and is one of the few splits that I can depend on to bloom for our early show schedules. It has Cassata as the pollen parent.
