Searching for Daffodils Offseason in California

Mary and I are just ending a marvelous two week vacation in California: San Francisco, Yosemite, and points in between. As always, I had my eyes open for signs of daffodils. These were sparse at this time of year – there _was_ a small impressionist bowl of blooms at the very nice art museum. Since it was impressionist, I couldn’t quite make out the varieties involved. 8-)
I really thought I had struck it rich when we found the shop in Sausalito shown in the attached photo. But when I inquired within, they had never heard of Bob Spotts.
We’ll be glad to get home. I am typing this after being in the SFO airport for about 9 1/2 hours. Only 2 more before our flight leaves, and we will arrive about 5:30 AM on the red-red-red eye.
Wi-fi access has allowed me to catch up on the emails I missed when we were electronically incommunicado, but I’m punchy now. Running out of things to do/say/think, thus this inane email.
