Hi  Daffnetters ,
Beautiful scenery from Chile  ,  thanks Juan Andres.
Would the pink daff you posted be the very reliable Mitsch pink  —  Precedent.
I was picking bunches of it today.
Late season flower , very good , tallish , strong stem and good firm neck .  Great market flower.
Goes through quite a colour change , ending with mostly pink in serrated rim  —  well covered on daffseek
I recieved a photo disc from a very keen photographer  I met at the Otaki show
Sid was wheelchair  bound and found this a very good hobby he could enjoy , found the blooms a challenge.
At the time i was struggling to get correct colour in snaps of 2  orange flushed double seedlings.
Staging them with a white backed seedling was intendedto exaggerate the colour contrast.
However as Sid suggested it would also confuse the camera computer.
3 photos from Sid  —  all taken on manual settings.
Next will be 2 from me on auto.
Cheers John
