Card pins from paperclips

Years ago I had an article in The Daffodil Journal about how to make a card pin out of a paperclip. Basically, you unwind a paperclip and then use a round nose plier to form a loop at one end. The pliers are called “wire loop pliers” and can be purchased from Micro-Mark, the small tool specialists. Their web site is www.micromark.com. In the latest printed catalogue, the pliers are on page 90. There are several diameters, so you can make big loops for standard labels and small loops for miniature labels. The work is tiring on the fingers, so don’t try to make hundreds of pins all at once; spread the work out over several days.
