Daffs in the landscape

Niels, here is one photo of daffodils from 2004 with like cultivars planted in groups in my front yard. I think the impact is so much better that mixed bulbs.
Tom Stettner, avert your eyes, the white clumps are ‘Ice Follies’. These are my 55 mph daffodils. They look good when you drive past, though I even enjoy them close-up! ;->

  1. Becky, I have to agree. Individual masses, even if smaller, add greater visual impact in a naturalized planting. Select a couple varieties to be used more than the others, repeating their masses throughout the planting to unify the entire display.
Any way you do it, whether massed or simply mixed, with daffodils you will have a lovely display. Please send pictures when they flower!
