N. miniatus near Conil is in best condition this autumn. There are many flowers of good form. The lovely and intense fragrance of N. miniatus is related to one of its ancient parents N. elegans (the other is N. serotinus). But the fragrance of N. elegans should not be pleasant to all people. It has a strong component of the scent of N. papyraceus.
