Was talking with someone from a garden club, and got onto the subject of old local/common names for old daffodils (which she called “farm daffodils”).
Any/all old names you’ve heard old-timers or country folk call old daffodils, please send ’em to me – i’d love to hear!
The best one so far is “Hens and Biddies” for the “little ones” – N. x intermedius~
Another one is “Old Fashioned” for Grand Primo…
