Constantinople or not

Dear Deborah,

CONSTANTINOPLE is a cultivar from an Israeli selection of Narcissus tazetta ‘Flore Pleno’ called here DOPPIO ROMANO = DOUBLE ROMAN. In and near Rome it is quite common in gardens and flowers in late January or in February. Its main advantage over other tazettas is its sweet scent. It is, in my conditions, similar to the double form of the CHINESE SACRED LILY but not the same.

Best regards.
  Henry (Rome)
