A new natural hybrid was recently described by Javier Fernandez Casas in Fontqueria 55 (67) Pages 555-556, 11/15/2008. The name is Narcissus x alentejanus. It is a hybrid between N. cavaniillesii and N. serotinus. The name is derived from a province where it was found, the Alto Alentejo in Portugal.
