ok kids, time for another round of pin the tail on the botanical name…
N. minor fl. pl. = N. minor flore pleno (give or take a latin ending)
Minor plenus, in the RHS, is ‘Flore Pleno’
Gallicus minor flore pleno, in the RHS, is Eystettensis
This is from an 1813 gardener’s list. In a different text from 1806 there’s a listing of N. minor for sale.
Thoughts? Pointers?

Hello Sara, Daffnetters
At first the very best wishes to all for the new year. We ended 2008 with iceskting on the water araund our fields and started with that in 2009. Today there is no frost but forecast is that it will be colder again this week. I will show 15 different pots of daffodils this week, Might sent photos later.
When I was asked for n. minor fl. pl. I would have offered n Rip van Winkle for that is syn.of n. pumilus plenus and pumilus is syn. of minor so the names are all mixed up. Again with the old names.
Best regards, Hein Meeuwissen, Voorhout, Holland.
