Dear Friends…
I am excited to inform all of you that Margaret and Skip Ford, longtime Virginia Daffodil Society supporters and board members whom many of you know, are batting 1,000! They won Best In Show at Clay Higgins show in Barco, NC last weekend (North East North Carolina Daffodil Society) and again this weekend at the Gloucester Daffodil Show in Gloucester, Virginia. I am confident the names of their winning entries will be on-line shortly, but I wanted to be the first to congratulate them over Daffnet! I should add that Margaret won Best In Show many years ago at her very first daffodil show!!!
Betty and I are indebted to these two wonderful exhibitors and judges who have been our mentors in the world of daffodils, but more importantly for being two of our closest friends.
