Kehelland, 1946, Alec Gray
I was given several of these bulbs in 2005 and told it was difficult to bloom, but what a flower! Interesting that the only other photo on Daffseek is from a deceased, but former Tennessee miniature enthusiast, Alice Wray Taylor. I’m interested if anyone else grows and blooms this flower.
Unlike my first impression of it looking like Rip Van Winkle, this one colored up nicely and has only a slight bit of green on the back. Rip has lots of green here!
