I saw this jonquil in Jackson Mississippi back about 9 years or so. As I recall it was an historic or pre 1940. A lady wants to show these in Dallas in the morning and I cannot remember the name of them. It grows on stems 18″ tall for her and they have a definite jonquil scent. She thought it might be Bolton but in Daffseek Kirby shows a different one. This one is always or has always only had a single bloom for this lady. Sorry about the pitiful photos. Galway is a 2, and a fairly big 2, and really doesn’t look like this, which looks like a very gold jonquil. I used to grow Galway a lot. Loyce
