  1. Daffnetters,

‘Pink Charm’ is a 1977 Dutch registration by P. deJager and Sons – and is sold widely in the USA.

It seems doubtful to me that it would be Pink Charm.  Pink Charm is an intermediate with tremendous precision of form.  Neither the perianth nor the corona resemble the bloom shown.  Further, the bulb I would be surprised to learn that the bulb was in general commerce, but believe it is sold only by specialty bulb producers at a price appropriate to a sought-after show cultivar.  It seems more probable to me that Walmart is getting a mass-grown and mass-distributed holland cultivar.

Bob, there’s also a ‘Pink Charm’ by David Jackson, unregistered, listed and pictured on Daffseek. Looks a lot like the deJager cultivar to me.

  3. I am wondering of Melissa has Pink Charm confused with Pink China from Elise Havens which is an intermediate and of excellent form.
Do you have Pink China, Melissa?
