Sometimes the simplest questions are the hardest to answer…

One way I’m celebrating St.Patrick’s Day is looking at Kirby’s grey-card ‘Mesa Verde’ and anticipating
all the great green flowers we’re going to see in Murphys next March.

I just had a question passed on to me by Laura Lee Ticknor, who is helping someone with some historic
daffodil research.
She asked Laura Lee: “What makes a good daffodil photograph?”

Simple? And terribly difficult to answer, especially briefly.

What do all of you think?

  1. Loyce,
For the technical aspects of photography, I would ask Kirby Fong.  For the artistic aspects, I would ask Bob Darling.  Whatever each of them say, I think it would be the right answer.

  2. I save SOME of the photos that are posted to daffnet.
The ones I save are properly clocked.  The ones that aren’t make me want to reach in the picture and fix them.
