After a fall and winter of calamitous weather, spring has finally arrived in SW Ohio today with a current temperature of 72F. I spent most of the day outside with the chainsaw clearing up damage from the earlier ice storm and still have lots to go. But it seemed like daffodils were breaking ground all around me as I worked. There’s no holding them back now!
We’re also enjoying the blooms of winter aconites, snowdrops, and the early crocus and little irises.
