Somehow I missed this website. Perhaps it has been listed here but, if so, it deserves a replay.

It’s likely that some of you know a lot about this or are even behind it. Step forward and educate or reeducate us about this nice effort.
I found it when I googled “Gloucester daffodils” and got these tantalizing lead sentences:
[from Wikipedia] The history of the daffodil in Gloucester County, Virginia, is almost as old as the county itself. When Gloucester was formed in 1651 from part of York County the early settlers brought these soft reminders of English springs as they established themselves in the area.
