Every year at Easter, the Pioneer Presbyterian Church in Warrenton, Oregon, the oldest Presyterian Church west of the Mississippi, assemble a huge cross on the front lawn of the church. 
The daffodil blossoms are individually placed into the grass to form the cross.
Here is a photo from the local paper showing two of the volunteers working on it.
