Glencoe show – Miniature Rose Ribbon winner

The Miniature Rose Ribbon is for the best miniature seedling exhibited by its originator. The winner was Larry Force’s 02-25-2 7Y-Y (N. rupicola x Ringer). Larry is from Mississippi where the peak of the season is in March. He had to hold his miniatures in a refrigerator for this late April show. In 2010 the national show (at Murphys, California) will be in mid-March, so we hope Larry will be able to show more of his miniatures there!

  2. There seems to be a precedent for that.  Alec Gray crossed rupicola by a poet and called most of them Y-Y.  They are similar to Larry’s seedling.  So I would think that Larry would call it Y-Y.  I would.
