identifying cultivars and species

 

Dave made some very good comments.  Not only about species, but also historic daffodils.  Can you ID the flower in the attached photo?  It looks like it could be historic.  But it’s from a cross I made in my mis-spent youth of ‘W.P. Milner’ x N. poetarum.  Seemed like a good idea at the time, a way to get color into miniatures.  But what I got was not what I had in mind!  These are planted in the woods, and occasionally bloom.
