Here’s one more photo taken this weekend of some late blooming (late planted) daffodils in the back yard with good color. You can see the “deer” on the deer trail, though this one is a plywood Christmas decoration I could not part with Santa’s reindeer got a bit worn to put in the front yard for the holidays. ;-> In the background are a lot of mayapples (Podophyllum peltatum). There are also trillium, Jacob’s ladder, and other wildflowers back there as the back yard merges into a shadier thickly wooded hillside.
