Bulb Information, Growing Daffodils, Show Results

Dear Daffodil Friends,

 

In Italy we do not have shows of cut daffodil blooms as those of which the marvellous photos are being sent to Daffnet in these days.

However my garden daffodil show, which lasts one month each year, is now in its 21st edition and many people come to visit it. Everybody is of course surprised by the many different flowers. I would also like to use this occasion to remind you of a less known painting by Vincent van Gogh: A basket with sprouting bulbs. You can see it  HERE  and if you click on the picture you will hear daffodils mentioned in the song.
