Dear Daffnet
I wanted to get a message to Kathy Anderson to tell her that sadly Doreen Bircumshaw has passed away. I know Kathy was a great friend of Derek’s and knew them both through Chrysanthemums and Daffodils. (I am sorry I don’t have a telephone number).
Obviously this is also a message to anyone else who knew Doreen – she had been in hospital after breaking her other hip and didn’t seem to be getting any better and just became very weak.
