More than a month after it would normally flower this ‘Causeway Sunset’ appeared in one of our borders. The forgotten bulb was found in a tray during an after Christmas clean-up and was planted sometime in January. It is a most consistent and colourful variety raised by Derrick Turbitt that should be in every serious exhibitors collection – it already has a string of best bloom awards to its credit.
