Another daffodil in June

Naomi posted flowers in June – after refrigeration.
What a surprise to find this flower to-day – seedling No 3225 (I think). Only a few bulbs exist but the other flowers in the stock were well over – these were fresh and full sized on a healthy looking plant.

  2. Chriss,
The stock only amounts to 3-4 bulbs so it is much too early for any decision. I would need to check the number in the field plus notes but I think it was bred from Regeneration or Perpetuation both of which are fertile here and produce some nice seedlings. They could be useful parents to get miniature Y-W seeedlings by crossing with N. rupicola or N. watieri or their likes.
