The flower season is slowerly getting under way in New Zealand , despite a cold front over the country
at the moment and snow in many areas.
No better way to start than with some 8Y Y Winter Sun.
Raised by Wilfred Hall, grown by John Hollever and sitting nicely in my lounge.
Picked late afternoon as it snowed on the Tararua Ranges about 2 miles inland and 5000feet above us.
