Back to What is it?

Friends,
Several folks said deer excreta (PC term).  Rabbit excreta was also a choice; however, rabbita excreta is distinctly round (not as pictured). Spencer Rainey said deer scat.  Tom Taylor gave the most precise answer . . . white tail deer scat.  The correct answer is white tail deer scat.
In the rough at the end of my property, there is a mature white tail doe that is out early in the morning and late in the evening.  She obviously has a fawn in the rough. How does this relate to daffodils?  I assure you that the fawn and others just like it will nibble on my daffodil foliage late next winter/eary spring as it comes through the ground.  One meal seems to be enough, and they don’t try daffodil salad again!
Hope you had fun!
