If I didn’t know better, I would say that Erlicheer was created especially for the Deep South as it blooms early here. Sometimes, a late freeze will weaken the stem, and it falls over. Other times when we have a heavy early spring rain, the florets will become saturated with water resulting in so much weight that it falls over. Nonetheless, it is one of my favorite daffodils.
