I disagree with the official parentage given for this one–It is a double mutation of French Sol, which it reverts back to on occasion (I have seen it do this).  G. Rain is a pure tazetta, fully fertile as pollen source, and there is clearly no non-tazetta ancestry in it.  French Sol was used by Rosewarne to breed some of their earliest autumn flowering yelow tazetta varieties like Innisidgen.
