Little Gem usually opens first week in September and is the mainstay of my entries in the miniature classes. I won’t have it this year. N cyclamineus is now in full flower and will also be over by the end of August. I may be able to keep a few later flowering ones as they keep well. Having distributed a number of cyclamineus bulbs I’m down to about 60 flowers this year.
Apology for the colour in the photo. The patch of Little Gem is really bright gold.
