Friends, I ask for your assistance, especially from anyone in Oklahoma. ADS has a Life Member, Maxine Johnson, last known address was in Owasso, OK. For some time now, her snail mailed regional newsletters have been returned to the Southern Region RVP, but the Journals have not been returned to me (which they should have been, so someone in OK is enjoying our ADS Journal). We can’t come up with a phone number. So as I sometimes have to do, I wrote the USPS Postmaster in Owasso, OK and asked for assistance. I received a response and they attempted to be helpful. The USPO in Owasso says our address of record for Maxine Johnson is incorrect, there is no such address, and he thinks that may be because of address changes implemented when their community went with a 911 emergency assistance program several years back. They do not recognize the name and couldn’t be of further help. I’ve tried peoplefinder.com and other such web based search opportunities, but because of the name being so common, that has not been very productive for me. I need your help to establish the status of Maxine Johnson, please. She joined ADS in 1961 and became a LM in 1977. For now, I am going to mark Maxine Johnson’s membership record as inactive, so no further mailings will go out… to what we now know is an invalid address. Help, please!
