Hello Folks,
The Canterbury Horticultural Society show was held this last weekend. The show is a combined show with the New Zealand Alpine Garden Society and the Canterbury Rhodendron Society.
AGS entries were up a hundred on last year and daffodil entries were up with over 250 entries. The hall is a wonderful display of quality and colour. Some of the alpine plants are very rare and the quality is very high. A number of plant stalls enable the purchase of choice plants.
Pearl Speyer judged the open daffodil section and Malcolm Wheeler the amatuer and children’s sections.
