Hummingbird, Fwd: Canyon Wren, and upper div miniatures

Apologies to those who get this twice.  Leone

I should know better than to disagree with Mary Lou on ANYTHING, but here goes:
I write as a person who very rarely exhibits multifloreted miniature seedlings. My seedlings have been awarded ADS Rose Ribbons including at the National Show.  Also some of those on this list, including the late Delia Bankhead have such awards.
If we can’t exhibit our seedlings, how could anyone ever see them?
Leone
PS  I have never seen ‘Canyon Wren’.

  1. Hmmm . . . I never said a word about seedlings.  I’ve won Rose and Mini Rose Ribbons also.  Melissa was asking about named cultivars.  However, I would let a note if I (as part of a judging panel) thought a seedling exhibited as a miniature was too large.  I suppose this could also happen if a seedling were entered as a standard that judges thought should be a miniature, but I think that’s unlikely.
