Friends, Loyce McKenzie, ADS Journal Editor, has asked me to let everyone know that a week ago, her home was struck by lightning, and this caused sufficient damage to force Loyce and her husband, Herman, out of their home, so that extensive repairs can begin. Fortunately the wing of the house where Loyce’s office is located… was unharmed. Their homeowners insurance is in full gear to restore their home and their lives back to normal, as quickly as possible. They are temporarily at an extended stay hotel, and will move to an apartment shortly. Loyce asks that you do not phone, and that she has limited time right now to respond to e-mails. Despite the challenges she faces, Loyce has a positive attitude and is working to get her life in operational mode as fast as possible.
