G’day All,
Here in the hills of Oberon NSW Australia we have been experiencing unusually warm weather. Most of the daffodils came out early along with flowering shrubs etc.
This morning I woke to a massive red dust storm followed by torrential rain.
For the first time in 75 years our local daffodil show was cancelled instead we a re holding a daffodil memorabelia show this weekend.
Enclosed is a photo of how I show my daffodils in my garage to the thousands of visitors who come to view my garden. Yes they are beer bottles.
I have been showing them like this for the last 25 years and the most popular comment when they first see them is ” thought there was only yellow daffodils”
Before the bad weather in the last 24 hours the garden was looking the best it had looked in year. Will enclose some photos of the garden when things quieten down.
