Another Intruder in daffodil beds

Kia ora koutou
We have had yet another intruder out in the daffodils – this one much larger. Following 234 mils of rain in a small number of days we continue to have flooding in the paddocks. The first photo is from where daffodils were planted last year and the second amongst the flower beds from this year.
Regards,
Miriam, Faith and Graeme

  1. Good grief, you too? My corner of Missouri, USA is now on day 2 of “Monsoon” season – I’m so GLAD we live on a hillside! Chris Durrill

  2. Hi Graeme, Faith, Miriam and Daffnet,
We live in the same district as the Millers – our rain gauge overflowed! Our beds are on a slight slope so the water has drained away. Some suggested names for new Miller seedlings:
Aquaflow. Aquaform, Frontier Waters, Frontier Mudpack, Frontier Frog, Canoe Slalom, Wellingtons Required, Iain’s Playground, Muddy Boots, Pirongia Pond,
A bulb of each will cover the Royalty costs for suggesting the names.
And to those who say there is no climate change, here is the Kiwi response – Yeah, right!!
    Peter and Lesley.

  3. Some of us are wondering why Jason Delaney, from St.Louis, Missouri, has not mentioned his aquatic intruders in this discussion.
