Well after some nattering it occured to me one thing to do is ask the body politic:
Does anyone know / have the early American trumpet ‘David Griffiths’ 1Y-Y? It’s listed as 1946 by Edwin Powell, but was crossed c.1924-1925 in Washington State by David Griffiths…
Any leads much appreciated !
