Went back out to check on the label – lines up with my record book but on close examination the rest of the row has flowered much earlier (and are setting seed open pollinated – better collect them!), So Denise’s explanation is logical although they aren’t doubles. Have marked them for growing on separately. Will also consult with Maestro Max from whence they came.
