On Monday after the board meeting, Spencer and I drove out of town into the valley and up to Kennecott Copper Mine, which is the largest copper mine in the world. I loved the landscape views along the way, which probably look very much what the the native Indians and first settlers must have seen before Salt Lake City existed. We were told are the range of mountains in this photo is part of the Rocky Mountain chain.
