Theo,
now this is a beauty, despite the snails. Do you know what step you will next follow? Assumedly, this will be a 28 chr. plant. As I am new to Narcissus, I am full of questions. How hardy are such crosses?
Such as, is Actaea a tetraploid selection of N. poeticus, or is it a hybrid? I noted in its decendants that only a few have gone into the second generation. Infertility due to ploidy? On the other hand, the triploid Jetfire has quite a few decendants.
Do you find that N. viridiflorus dominates the blooming season in crosses?

Actaea x N. viridiflorus ( Manuel Lima). The flower was attacked by snails and cut off for harvesting the pollen.
