Blooming Christmas Day

Friends,
I hope everyone of you have enjoyed a blessed Christmas Day.  Alas, no snow in Central Mississippi.  So, the only white I can show you today is the white of Bill Welch’s ‘Tahi’ 8 W-W now in bloom in my garden. As many of you know ‘Tahi,’ ‘Rua,’ and ‘Toru’ were grown in New Zealand and named by Max Hamilton from seed sent to him by Bill Welch.  In the Maori language ‘tahi’ means one. ‘rua’ means two, and  ‘toru, means means three.
I have only had ‘Tahi,’ ‘Rua,’ and ‘Toru’ since 2007. To date, it would appear that ‘Toru’ is the best grower for me.
