Daffnetters,
Here’s part of my patch of ‘Tequila Sunrise’ – it’s been open a couple of weeks on December 4, 2009. Like many fall bloomers, it lasts forever here.

It looks as if it sends up a bunch of secondary bloom stems. Oh, I wish I could grow it here in Ohio! How tall is it anyway?

Donna,
Tequila Sunrise is a group. I grow four of the clones. The two clones in the photo are 16" and 14" tall. Two later-growing clones I have are 10" and 8" tall. The later clones are less vigorous. I’d bet eventually the Group will be comprised of the earlier, more vigorous clones. There are several clones that I don’t grow – I put them into our NCDS bulb raffle.
