Pollen in the freezer

The pollen in the pictures is from N. bulbocodium, Emerald Sea, N. assoanus and N. fernandesii. It was in the freezer since 2006. It is to be seen, that many polllen grains sprout and therefore can be used for successful pollination. Freezing is possible for pollen of all narcissus species I tried, also for N. tazetta and N. viridiflorus, which normally don’t stand frost.
