Friends,
Snow in Central Mississippi is not common, and there are no daffodils blooming because of what has been a prolonged period of cold for us. However, the cardinals and American goldfinches (winter coloration) were at the feeder in force this morning while the snows was still falling.

Hi Ted, I see that you are helping the birds in this bad winter and amusing yourself by watching them. Do you know about the North American Bird Count that is happening right now?
