It was gifted to me as ‘Curly’ 2Y-Y.  I’m sure that it is misnamed.  The photos of ‘Curly’ on Daffseek has a much larger corona and mine looks like it is a 2W-O not a 2Y-Y.  Does anyone have any suggestions of what it is?

    Hi Mary:

I purchased bulbs of ‘La Argentina’ in 2006 or 2007 which flowed identical to this.  It was from Dutch Gardens or Brecks… can’t remember which.  It was released in the States at least 25 or 30 years earlier, then again a few years ago. I haven’t seen it since.  It’s quite lovely, with a nice yellow edge on the orange cup.  It can flower under the guise of div. 2, 3, or 11b, much like ‘Trepelo’.  It’s quite variable.
