‘French Prairie’ photo

Does anyone out there have any photos of ‘French Prairie’?  There is only one picture on Daffseek and I would like to have a couple of other good photos to compare to a daffodil in my garden.  I purchased ‘French Prairie’ from Mitch Daffodils about 8 years ago and assumed that it was dead when I couldn’t find it the next spring.  Two years ago I had a lovely 2W-P bloom for me and I know that it isn’t something new that I purchased.  I am thinking that it must have had a “near-death-experience” and finally recovered.  I know that I “rescue” lots of daffodils through-out the country, but, this is much too NEW looking to have come from those old abandomed sites.  Nancy was kind enough to resize it for me so I can post it on Daffnet.

  1. Hi Mary and all .. while I’m not very good with certain cultivars, I must say that the first thing to come to my mind with this flower is “Rose Royal”. The photo on Daffseek is pretty old but does show some of the similar traits of your photo. the thing that impacts me first, is the narrow, more pointed Sepals and the cup shape together which reminds me of Rose Royal quite a bit.
    that’s my 2¢
