Congradulatios to Reg and Rita Cull on 50 years of marriage .
A splendid achievement ..
They met when Reg was a young trainee at the N Z Forrestry School in Rotorua for 4 years ..
Those four daff seasons and a couple after are the only interruptions in Reg,s long daffodil history ..
His father and uncle and aunt Sid and Sybil Free were also exhibitors and young Reg start showing
in his early teenage years .He was fulltime as Hokorawa Daffodils for nearly 40 years and many will
have visited Hokorawa , well placed on the main highway at Foxton .
Rita has always been an equal part of the team and with 3 daughters and 2 sons has played a
great mothers roll to the whole team .
They were all present along with many grandchildren for this special day .
The photo was taken at a show in the 2009 season ; they were so busy today that I couldn,t
get them in the lenz together .
I think they,ll be moving slower tomorrow — they have a beautiful Golden Totara to plant on their
large lawn as a living memory of this special day ..
