Friends, for those of you that are ADS members, please see pg 92 of the DEC 09 Daffodil Journal. I now have, and am ready to ship, all the CDs or DVDs mentioned in the article by Mary Lou Gripshover. The Daffodil Journal, 1964-2004 DVD… is searchable by author, issue, and keyword. At $40, it is a bargain. The ADS has made a sizeable investment to have the Journal digitally archived, and the project has taken a very long time to bring it to fruition. Also available on DVD is The Daffodil Bulletin, which preceded the Daffodil Journal. It is $10. Check the Journal article for info on the other archival resources that are available to you. You can send a check to place your order. If you are an ADS member in good standing, you can send me an e-mail requesting your order, and I will enclose an invoice in your package. I am minutes away (barring technical difficulty) to adding the various CDs and DVDs to our webstore, too. International members that are interested in purchasing these e-resources, should contact me to make arrangements for the extra cost of shipping. And for those that are not ADS members, why not order some of these educational and archival e-resources, and join ADS at the same time? You can easily join on our ADS webstore. The web address is listed below. Since I may be inundated with orders for these new e-resource/archival media materials, please allow a couple of weeks for me to fill the orders and get them on the way to you. This is a busy time of year, with show season prep, and many related orders coming into the office of the Executive Director.
Please thank Mary Lou Gripshover for her work associated with these fabulous educational and archival e-resources that are now available. Mary Lou has chaired this effort over the last two years, and is presently continuing her mission to digitally archive our ADS Library contents. The task is enormous.

Having a preview copy of the 40 years of Journals DVD, I have to say that it is an AMAZING resource! It is so interesting to search by topic (hybridizing or viridiflorus, for example) and find all the articles over 40 years that relate. Or to search by author and find all the articles contributed by that person. This project is another ADS gem! Thanks, Mary Lou, and everyone who worked on it!
